Individual and team sports are not only fun they also keep us fit and healthy. Despite these great things there is nothing worse for a dentist than seeing healthy teeth damaged or even lost on the sporting field when something as simple as a mouthguard could have prevented the injury. The mouthguards available from chemists and supermarkets will offer some protection for low-impact activities. However, the optimal protection can only be obtained from a professionally made and fitted mouthguard provided by your local dentist.

The footy and soccer seasons are now underway and we see this issue as such a high priority that we are offering gap-free mouthguards for our patients. There is a range of colours available which means your kids will be able to proudly wear and show off their mouthguard to all their friends. To be eligible you must be a member of an Australian Health Insurance Fund and have available health fund benefits that can be claimed through Hicaps.
